He got permission from the principal, "YG Partha Sarathi" and then starred in the film. One of the producers of Sri "Kranthi Kumar" saw the film and booked him for another art film in black and white. It was released on September 22, 1988.Sri "K. Bala Chander" and "K Bapu" were also there to see the preview of the film. Then he signed for his upcoming films.
He acted in many films but never thought of the paper sizes that was offered that he had taken all the papers as a challenge and given the best of his including guest roles and villainy roles in his stellar career. In 1983, he was released Khaidi. It was a story in the Tollywood and on that day, there was no turning back for Chiranjeevi, the "Megastar" was suddenly transformed into an "ultimate hero."

In the movie "Intiguttu" (1984), was injured when he tried to fight with the light tube.
